About Us...




DoggyBizzNizz is a bespoke pet care service based in Wrexham,

North Wales and owned by Karen.


I have worked in the Care Sector for many years looking after elderly and mentally ill people but dreamed of running my own business looking after animals!

I have a passion for animals, particularly dogs and decided to turn my dreams into business reality - thus DoggyBizzNizz was created in July 2017...




About Karen...


 I've been a Registered Mental Nurse for 27 years. I live with my partner Marlon, 2 sons Josh (22) & Louis (20) and adorable deaf French Bulldog, Onslow. I love animals of all kinds and aside from having dogs all my life,  I have also owned cockatiels, gerbils, hamsters, rabbits, tropical fish, cats and chickens!


I have completed several animal care courses including  - Dog CPR, First Aid + Safety, Animal Training & Pet Sitting, The Ultimate Guide to Dog Grooming, Careers with Animals, Essential Cat & Kitten Care, Doggy Dessert Chef, Pet Adoption and a Dog Walking Business course. I am currently studying for the Canine Holistic Health & Therapy Diploma, the Pet Bereavement Counsellor Diploma, Exotic Animal Care and I have also completed an introduction course in 'Essential Oils for Animals'.


In my spare time (!) I have studied for and completed a Diploma in Aromatherapy and make soap & candles..



The Team...


Karen owns and manages the business but it is very much a family affair with Marlon, Josh & Louis all helping out during busy times! Marlon is my partner and works alongside me in Healthcare and gives me moral & practical support! Josh is a 22 year old student and is an expert dog walker but also adores cats and Louis is 20 and just happy to be involved when needed! We are the sole workers in DoggyBizzNizz Limited and never sub-contract but we do employ a few regular part time workers!

Michelle lives locally and owns 4 cats and 4 dogs so has a huge amount of experience and is fast becoming an asset to our team! She will be working part time during the week, helping out at our busier times. She has an enhanced DBS check and fully covered under our insurance policy.



Between us we have a wealth of experience, knowledge & love because

we believe pets are family!



In the future we intend to add other services

 including group walks, wedding packages, canine aromatherapy and

Pet Bereavement Counselling.




How do you book our service?


Contact us by telephone, text or e-mail.


We will then call you to arrange a meeting in your home.

This is a free visit and usually takes around half an hour.


During this meeting we will complete some paperwork - pet & house information, emergency contacts, veterinary authorisation form, key release form, service booking form etc and show you our Insurance documents. We will then both sign the Service Agreement and arrange payment of fees.


We are fully insured and the insurance covers owners keys & alarm systems. During our visits, we will also clean up any mess, clean and replenish litter trays and make your house look lived in by opening/closing curtains/blinds, turning lights on and off, bringing mail in, watering plants, etc.
